“I learned early on in life that I stood out from the crowd. Mostly because I was awkwardly tall, embarrassingly clumsy and had a mushroom/mullet like hair cut in 6th grade. If you think that was bad, I rocked a juicy Jheri Curl in 4th grade! Thanks, Mom. But one day, it all clicked. Standing out meant I had everyone’s undivided attention, and that was the first step in being heard. And boy, do I have a lot to say.”
